The cards everybody traded at school, drawn from scratch: a thick printed border, a field of colour, a bevelled picture frame and an attack row with an element cost. The rarity symbol changes from a dot to a star as you go up.
The starter card is Glimmerfang, a crystal beast with a light element. Swap in your own monster and give it attacks of its own.
No download and no account needed to start. The card opens in the editor with every part on its own layer. Retro Border '99 comes with the Pro plan; on the Free plan the starter card opens on Tavern Tale, which is free.

Yes. Add up to four attacks, each with a cost, damage and a line of text.
